hmmm … maybe a cowslip? It looks very much like the flowers that used to grow down by the stream that went through the cow pasture across from my house growing up and I think we called them cowslips. But I’m certain that’s a colloquial name and it was 30 odd years ago, I have no idea what the real name is. Sorry I can’t be more help …
