A Hanson Single for Jim and You, My Gentle Readers

In honor of Jim’s Weekend adventure in Allentown, PA, which you can read all about here, I present you with the opportunity to download a free MP3 file of Hanson’s single "Been There Before" from their new album "The Walk."  It is presented courtesy of "Rolling Stone," which states:

The Walk finds the harmonizing family crafting rock that’s more soulful (”Great Divide”), folky (”Watch Over Me”) and even funky (”Tearin’ It Down”). Sample this acoustic rendition of ’50s-tinged “Been There Before” and see how these onetime teen sensations are handling life in their twenties.

Download “Been There Before.”  Read more here.

Interesting choice for a freebie. It’s not one of the better songs on the disc, IMO. In fact, I like most of the songs on The Walk more and more with repeated listening. It’s pretty good. Who would have guessed?
