My Favorite Posts for 2007

This is not a “happy, happy, joy, joy” kind of blog (as my regular readers all know).  Why?  Mainly because I am not a “happy, happy, joy, joy” kind of guy.  I know I should more happy or joyous, but this goes against my basic personality.  Who I am is more accurately reflected in my favorite posts for 2007, which can be accessed by clicking on their links below.  Most of these posts received very few comments if any (save for the last one).  People tend to comment on the more light-hearted or silly things I put on this blog.  But in case you were wondering what posts I value above others, here is my list of 14 links.

Reflections on The Red Wheel Barrow

The Prayer that Suffices

Deus absconditus

God’s Secret Service

A Reflection on Death and Dying

The Conviction that We Are Right Disease

The Forgiveness of Sin

Night Terror - A Poem by Yours Truly

Life as a Professional Leaver

Stupid “Christian” Bumper Stickers

A Valentine for My Readers

Ask Me Whether What I Have Done is My Life - An Ash Wednesday Sermon

This Week’s Poem: Simple Song by Yours Truly

And then there is the post that generated the most and longest comments of the year (who would have thunk it?):

A Christmas Card from John the Baptist
