Obviously whoever wrote this review does not understand the point of the movie, and how much insight it took to make. Granted the story line isn't very original, but one must remember, this is a musical. And what is music mostly written about? Love, and with love comes happiness and sadness, so in all actually the story line wasn't all too terrible. As for the songs, they were beautifully covered and not cheesy, like musicals often are (with the exception of "I Want You."
